The £65 fee
£65 per property, every year, paid to the government register. It is pro-rated during rollout. You pay it again each year for each property.
What happens if you miss the deadline
After 14 April 2027, councils in East of England can begin enforcement. Letting or advertising an unregistered property can attract a civil penalty, with higher penalties for repeated breaches.
